You always inspire with your thoughtful words
created and designed to bring much cheer
you never hurt intentionally with your verse
knowing full well it can have profound repercussions
for those concerned or affected by your discourse
no diatribes or vents do you communicate
everything you do envisages the end result
gentleness and calm issues from your pen
I admire your confidence and firm beliefs
your love of nature and the universe
shows your beautiful spiritual self
weaving and waxing on affairs of the heart
having the courage of your convictions
you illuminate the path for others
so that they can thrive
the lamp of your knowledge
is sitting on the table for others to see
convention and formality you push aside
letting the eternal and evolving truth appear
my heart is gladdened by your esoteric outpourings
a master wordsmith, a talented artist
you flow and harmonize in perfection
with consummate precision and watchful eye
your finger on the pulse of current flow
always seeking to glean more wisdom
you keep an open and receptive mind
assured and steadfast in your own abilities
realising we can always learn and improvise
displaying adaptibility par excellence
completely governed by the architect of life
your palette is adorned with glorious technicolor
as your daily offering leaves me awestruck

There is a story of a rabbi on his death bed. He is asked if he is ready for the world to come. The rabbi says yes. After all, he will not be asked "Why were you not Moses?" He will only be asked, "Why were you not yourself?"
Authentic persons --- winners --- do not dedicate their lives to a concept of what they imagine they should be. Rather, they are themselves and as such do not use their energy putting on a performance, maintaining pretence, or manipulating others. Winners do not need to hide behind a mask. They throw off self-images of inferiority or superiority. They are not afraid to use their knowledge or do their own thinking. Winners don't play helpless. They assume responsibility for their own lives. Winners know their feelings and are unafraid of them. They can be spontaneous. They have a zest for life and they enjoy their own accomplishments and those of others as well. They are not afraid to go after what they want, despite their detractors. They care about the world and the people in it. They are compassionate and commited to improving the quality of life and their self-image is not one of a powerless individual. They are their own bosses and they know it! A wonderful tribute to someone out there who deserves and appreciates it, Peter.
