WHO WILL LISTEN So many emotions pent up inside Like creatures attacking my inner-being Indigent for escape from the shackles that confine them Trapped by the knowledge that no one will listen Battling the limitations of expression No more deaf ears needed sans understanding Searching for the concerned soul longing to hear For once it would be better to be noticed then to heed Who will listen Who will be my confidant clandestine The soldier in splendor sent to rescue my existence The thoughts imprisoned, yearning to flow Who will listen ...
