To Be Me Ash blonde frosting Blanketing a befuddled mind Feverish happiness Smothered by saddened eyes Anxious about tomorrow Well aware of yesterday Living for today A friend A lover A devoted soul Far from perfection But always aiming to please Emotional and sincere Always seeking the truth Will hear your cry among the clouds And wipe away your tears Will smile when your joy Glitters in the stars Hold your hand when you fear The fury of the storm Will be there for you unconditionally Always seeking more Never asking much Always being me Always
