Like a humming bird
flitting quickly from bloom to
bloom, never staying
Take a taste from here
a sip from there, sampling
all in the garden
Finding one whose scent
whose sweet nectar can hold my
fascination
Longing to hover,
sip for eternity, but
my wings are too weak
Heavy hearted I
fly away home, but I will
visit here often
You always bring back such beautiful flowers
like this poem.
Love & Light,
Joseph
There are many flowers in the garden but one must always beware of the snap dragons. Very good write.
