Do we ever know ourselves?
I ask this day
Can we really discern?
Between happiness and dismay
We say we want to live in peace
Without this disarray
But how do we find such peace
The way people are living today
The western world is learning
From precious power burning
The earth’s in trouble
She must grow quad double
To keep our lives this way
The developing world is catching up
We’ve shown just how to overload the truck
We must slow down
It’s our turn to frown
Our one-pointed ways
Are devastation bound
Nature is our guide now
She’s showing us the way
We must remain aware
Of what she’s trying to say
Indeed! nature is our guidng force never to be followed for it is a perfect response to our ignorance. It is love chasing love and when nature's repetitions awake us then there will no longer be a need for nature. Love has not nature only ignorance. Regards, Tom
Real clarity of thought in this, takes the reader in-and the format too, the short lines, and the shape (that almost seems like a cross) is appealing to the eye.
oh yes...to listen to the natural world, and more importantly the inner self (beyond the mind programming we've been led to believe here) is the truth of who we are and what is real
