Hello EveryOne,
Biggest love and hugs to All during this time, and always!!
Love, Suzie xox

Poetry is a gift that’s free
A blessing it is for you and me
To write, to read, to sing its tune
Lifting us out of any gloom

Or maybe it might just take us there
To share the feelings of despair
To reflect, to taste, to experience fate
Heavenly helps to eliminate hate

P
oetry is a gift it’s true
A reflection of me and you
Descriptions of our sons and lovers
Celebrates our heartfelt flutters
And deeper meanings are heaven sent
Making the heart smile, lament
Comedy included, poetry has it all
Expressing this journey of life galore

I agree with what you express within your verses here, Suzie. My so-called poetry tends to shy away from "happy thoughts" and I am not sure why. I blame it on the chaotic mess this world is in. Thank you for sharing your gift. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis

I echo all of your sentiments of what a poet means to you, I once tried to hide my poetry as if it were some dirty little secret because I was raised to believe only sissys did poetry...since joining the den I have found out poetry is for everyone...

Thank you Suzie, and this is sooooooooooo true too. I have always said too that poetry is the song of the soul, and that goes hand in hand with this, because while we are singing the song of the soul, we are living, experiencing, and expressing life galore. Thank you for sharing this wonderful reminder that there are still those of us out there that enjoy writing, reading and expressing life galore, while we sing the song of the soul that is poetry. Thank you for sharing.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the wotld, peace on earth, & (((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie
