"We rarely hear the inward music, but we're all dancing to it nevertheless" – Rumi

We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
the beat, rhythm, the tempo
of the universe
is within us
in all we seek

We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
the whirling, twirling, the movement
of our splendid souls
creative compassion
Through the hand that gives

We rarely hear the inward music,
but we’re dancing to it
our hearts are guides
intuition flies
to the beat
honouring all that is

I dance so I really relate to the music that lives inside each heart. If we listen to the beat in our hearts we can dance to the beat of our own music.! Suzie, check out my tribute videos to Michael at www.youtube.com/dancingpoetdetroit . I think you would appreciate them. Peace!!!
