'If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?' - Rumi ♥

When every little itch causes us to scratch
When life’s simple rub imbues a rash
A tiny jolt may cause us to dash
Then life truly seems a difficult bash

Why oh why do our petals easily fall
When we are so precious
Knocking to the floor
Every effort we have made
To be strong and tough in life’s parade
 
Strengthen up and lengthen our stride
Take each blunder with inner pride
We are so strong
Our spirits are a song
Beyond the touch of all earthly wrongs
