Empathetic Action Needed for people who live tough Existing on the streets without shelter Enduring life so rough Our homeless family submitted to society’s bluff Today’s throw away attitude Must have luxuries and stuff Indispensable people Lives a strew How could we ever forget you? Going without, so some can live large Whoever knew you’re our real stars But this can’t go on The truth must be seen It’s in our hands to create a new scene Waking from sad dreams Let’s open the way For a brighter, happier, healthier new day
