There is no other name More defamed Than the dearest name of God No other name Has seen such shame And, blasphemy God lesser than a log The modern man Has found deep reverence In the love of a dog Or loving fancy rats Is where divinity is at God’s mysterious epilogue To the story of God’s glory Mischief now in his name Uncover the qualities of God’s true purpose Develop these principles, look within The truth beautifully sets us free

God's name is not Unfortunate, He is Love. Literal names may vary and meanings multiply but in the end what matters is Who God is. The poem is a fitting discourse on what man has considered God's name to be, in his own finite perspective, and sadly there is much truth to it today. If God is called Love, man is called Lost.

The most unfortunate thing is...that most peolpe do not even know what God's name is...as it is in the original versions of the bible. The word God is a title reserved for the most high but is not a name and it is not the same as "lord" which simply refers to a title given to someone who rules and was often given to landowners and bosses. Even Jesus the son of God was called Lord.
