I bow to this moment And all that it brings I bow to the lessons Learning teaches me to sing I grow as a consequence Growing keeps me alive I flow with new reverence What it means to survive The down times The doldrums Days in the rough When things don’t go smoothly And, happiness you bluff Keeping our heads above water Let’s ride all life’s waves Another new day taller Embrace growth everyday

Good advice for the young and the old here, Suzie. You put the rhymes together with flair which gave the poem more than "just" a read. I love it when rhymes work.

This flows as does the wisdom like the water in a river, it just carries on flowing without complaint no-matter the rocks or obstacles that try to stand in its way. Be like water, my friend. :)
