How to quieten the mind, the mind? And, elevate to a wider dimension How to express our heart and soul? Beyond the standard convention In communicating oneself in restricted verse The accepted means applied today In conveying one’s worth, trying to find mirth What are the ways we can portray? The essence of our feelings Uttering our true expression Meanings behind the mind The profound core of our being Where our hearts sing That’s what is needed today To quieten the mind Let’s be creative sublime Uncover our hidden sparks Be at one with your spirit Allow love to deliver us Finding home within our hearts

It is a mind(less) question, Suzie. Our brain controls everything, even the feelings we attribute to our hearts. Since the heart cannot think, the brain has to do all the thinking for it. Sometimes the brain gets it right, but there are times when the heart can be led down a one-way street of treachery and sadness. I agree that we need to "uncover our hidden sparks," and if we work hard at it, as you have here, we can.
