Our Ducky was a Beauty
Our Ducky was Divine
Our Duck-Duck ducked into our hearts
Uplifting us so sublime
His adorable nature set our hearts free
His loving personality touched all who could see
How he went about his ways would truly amaze
Resolutely living on one leg through most of his days
He inspired me deeply, moving me so much
Ducky was my muse, keeping me in touch
Of my dreams of recovery
Getting better no matter what
When Ducky hobbled into our yard
I was inspired on the spot
One leg didn’t stop him, he was complete, and on top
The greatest duck in the land
We will miss him more than a lot!
His spirit lives on
Although we still cry
Such an adorable dear being
Our duck-duck with style!

God bless God's animals! They heal us so much. They teach us so much! They give us so much! They love us unconditionally!
Do you know any one person like that who ever lived besides Jesus Christ? I have not! Perhaps our pets we bring into our homes and our lives are God's gift to us. Unconditional love in another form? We cannot see it but we can feel it and believe it! Thank you Jesus for giing us gifts that sometimes we take for granted.
