It takes real strength to be gentle and kind
We may not think so, but usually we find
The gentle spirit shines brightly it does
Beaconing strength in a gentle rush
The gentle spirit quietly contemplates truths
Nothing is worth saying if it’s not for the good
Of all others sharing this world
All of us an assortment of unique, splendid pearls
The only job we have is to remind that we’re so
Incredibly precious each of us with our own inner glow
Those who don’t reveal it have forgotten the truth
It’s up to us to be the living proof
It takes real strength to be gentle and kind
We may not think so, but usually we find
We feel much happier around people who care
Such happiness doesn’t need to be so very rare
Always,
Deborah
