I'm glad this shook you up to write again and share your thoughts. Government everywhere is so tied up in money and connection that it's really hard for people to come forward and serve who are untainted by all of these trappings required to be leaders.

We have to find a way to cut through all of the ridiculousness and find people of the people, like Obama has been, to take over leadership from the hypothetical log cabin again.

And like you have stated along with Michael, the pendulum will swing back and everyone will be better off, in time.
