Poem Artwork

The breath flows in and out
Like waves gently moving forward and back
The ocean rises with the ebb and flow
Of the moon, its cycle… So much more than a milky glow

The wings of a bird glide in the wind
Its call causes the heart to quieten and sing
We wonder where the birds do fly
As they make their journey across the sky

And what is it that makes our heart beat?
A magical mysterious unanswerable feat
Perhaps all we need to know
With love in our hearts we will always grow

Absolutely! Love . . . A rock around our throats, or a warm, lovimg feeling inside cheat. It is lover, for sure.

Yes! Yes! Yes! It all begins and ends with love. Life, being, purpose, relationships, commonality, freedom, and happiness. Said so perfectly by the poet of love, Suzie Palmer.

The rhythms of life probably have their origin in the motions of the earth on its axis and the moon in its orbit. One of the reasons why we probably find the moon so romantic in our literature. Without all this rhythmic movement, I doubt if life could exist, let alone love.

Great poetic pondering is alive and well. Yes, the more we learn about the world, the less we know. Why is that? Pray tell...

Love has a way of making the heart stronger. If we know that much, we already know quite a lot.
