First of all, I am so sorry for your loss.
Second, I will quote another AD author, J. Wilson, "Love today with everything that you have, for our lives are but a whisper and then we are gone. Love…TRUE love is our greatest gift."
We have enjoyed our two precious cats who lived 15 and 17 years respectively. Shortly thereafter, we went to visit an animal shelter and now we are blessed with two more cats, we named them Rocky and Balboa. They love us and surround us with comfort like nothing else.
