Witnessing the degrading agonies

Of a fragment, clutching –

To a life which needs to be breathed.

Wounds which scar, dried blood that

Heals, reaches for the insight.

Victory which is near encouraged by

Instinct – grapples with -

Fear fermented by shame.

Willed to live longing for experience

Spirit, disjointed by sufferance 

Hangs on -
