There’s this place that I am proud of

Gather around I’ll tell you more

About the magic beauty of Nova Scotia

Where I live my days along its shore

Surrounded by the North Atlantic

With the worlds most highest tide

The famous beauty of the Cabot Trail

Makes my heart fill with so much pride

Then there’s old historic Halifax town

With its fortress called Citadel Hill

Just below the ghost of Oscar Wilde

Can be often seen there just as well

There’s the trail of Evangeline

It’s said here the poets love to dream

And apple blossom time in the Valley

Is like nothing you have ever seen

I can’t forget the Peggy’s Cove

Where the lighthouse stands alone

Sending a welcome cross the sea

For all to come on home

Now you’ll find five star hotels

But also quaint Victorian B & B’s

You’ll even find wilderness camping

Sheltered in forests of pine trees

Steam up lobsters, mussels and clams

On a seaside beaches of white sand

Or catch a two pound speckled trout

In cool pristine lakes a further inland

Winter time snow for all you ski buffs

Miles of trails for summer time fun

Believe me the sceneries perfect

Whether you like to bike, walk or run

There’s so much more I could tell

I know I could fill a book twice
