Wrinkled Sheets and Breakfast

By: Fee

Can you hear it?

The calming music of a morning shower

Can you feel it?

The gentle cleansing of the sexual fluids

Can you smell it?

The scent of expensive lavender hotel soap…

Can you taste it?

Scrambled eggs, croissants and perked coffee

Can you hear it?

The delighted laughter of love’s completeness

Can you feel it?

The joy de vie of a brand new dawn

Can you smell it?

Last nights love stained wrinkled sheets

Can you taste it?

Peppermint toothpaste kisses on the lips

Ahhh the morning after…

It is nice when these nights go well, no hearts get broken and the memories are ones that keep you warm on lonely nights-then it is blissful. I liked this, good poem.
