Sitting on a beach at sunset

I stare into the sky
as the sunset meets the ocean.
I feel the warmth of ages past
as it touches my emotion.
bathing in the waves
that beg for my attention
I am truly free
and I know only me.
And silent fear
cant wrap itself around me
and try to make me unwhole.
And the pain of love so deep
can't hold my heart within it's grasp.
And the lonely wind can't claim my soul.

You inspire me. Your sunset is a lithium dose that is healing...it is the song in your powerplay that wins and suffocates melancholy. I'd be honored to share a sunset with you Pierre. We would write a poem then of bravity, color and life. It wouls surely be a masterpiece.

We all struggle with staying alive and comfortable within who we really are..
Nothing can claim us as long as we are willing to fight the forces that strangle us.
Wonderful write!
