Our love is the pain
no drug,
but our lover can lessen.
Our Joy is the feeling
we want,
so much to feel.
Yet Cold is the rain
that falls,
upon us all.
It forces us
to seek shelter,
in any warmth we can steal.
I feel this deep commitment that goes unsatisfied. You deserve more. Your passion is a fire and your testimony within your poems makes me sad. I want to reach out to cradle you for the moment but I'm so very far away.
