In a perfect world
it would'nt be our fault,
there would be,
no sorrow to hault
The love of giving hearts,
no pain to keep our souls apart.
In a perfect world
we would'nt have to wonder
if we really love or hate one another,
If we could get along by trying,
If we could ever stop the lying.
In a perfect world
it would'nt be our living,
that taught us our tolerance
and our forgiving.
We would'nt be led by greed to gain.
There would be no struggle,
our needs to sustain.
In a perfect world
only love and joy would exist,
there would be no evil
or selfishness to resist,
A smile and A laugh,
could only mean one thing,
to lonliness we'd never have to cling.
In a perfect world.
If love were as perfect in living as we imagine it to be in our hearts then it would all be too easy. To quest for perfection, not settle for seconds is heaven on this earth. I know it's out there and I refuse to muddy the waters for anything less. Keep looking but don't choose out of desperation...choose because your heart led you to it's mate.

i'm not so sure about the perfect world theory. from strife comes change...but then on the other hand, in a perfect world, there would be no need for change...wow i have to think about this some more...good poem
