Now she dances through
my memory,
The brightest light of my day,
and reaches out to take my hand,
Oh why could I never understand,
It was allways her life and hers alone.
only my lonliness
would come from caring.
In this world hate begs so to be shown.
Why did she welcome
the selfishness that kept her from
sharing?
How could she let my love for her
leave me so alone?
Still she fills my worried mind,
The only thing in my lonely heart
that seems true ,
and reaches out to take my hand
The lover I never really knew.
Crying softly,
we gently touch each other,
then I am taken away from her forever.
Still she wanders through my senses
She was my life, she was my home
and reaches out to comfort me
Why is pain allways the price we pay
for not wanting to sleep alone?
Now she dances through my memory
The brightest light of my day.
