Silent walls
rise up around her.
Silent walls
nothing can penetrate,
Removing her
from a world
of pain and sorrow,
To which
She can no longer relate.
Sullen rooms
of safety surround her,
sullen rooms
Void of lonliness where she lay in wait
She knows at last
She has found her way,
to a place
Where hatred and greed
can't find her heart.
A place
Where lies and deceit
can't make her soul pay.
Time is closing in around her.
Only her innermost thoughts
and feelings stay,
To live with her
in almost forbidden silence,
From this horrible world
She's forever locked away.

OOH i understand this one and i think i know who you are talking about--well anyway this poem is brilliant.
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
Love, Cody
God bless,
Sandie.
I enjoyed the story, as well as the subject.
Your descriptions of what it must be like, are vivid and real.
