There's a reason
the sun comes up each morning,
a purpose,
that comforts you and allows you to see
All the seasons of joy
that by the day you witness
pass me by in an instant,
so what's the point of me.
There's a laughter
deep inside you I can never capture,
a gift
that allways sets your soul free.
It's the promise
of here and now and hereafter,
forever it holds you, and refills you,
so what's the point of me.
There's a lonliness
tearing at my heart
you never seem to care about,
or try to understand,
but without it I'm not me.
An emptiness
the world has placed within
that touches my every part.
A madness,
pulling me away from you
that won't let go of my hand,
It's only,
the lost and hoping side of life
I feel akin to,
so whats the point of me.
