No simple notes conspire
a sweet melody to inspire.
No true freedom gathers
to protect all that matters.
No degree of want can garner
all the heart seeks.
No sheer joy can overpower
the suffering of the hour.
No strength of good
can ever contain,
the power to cause
only happiness to remain.
Kindred souls can only understand
when lonliness speaks.

I see the connection to your loss here. I feel it as though it is upon my own shoulders. The substance chills me as I recall the exit of my own heart. It seems the heart still wants the part that loved so hard as the wisdom struggles with the heart to allow the departure for closure. It's the addiction of our hearts that competes with our minds at times. The mind normally wins when the intensity gets to be a struggle...it's all about survival at that point.

Love,

Susan

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
