Not cared for,
then who are we
only souls left alone
to search for harbor
on a dark and stormy sea.
Not loved,

With only sorrow as our armor
we fight just to be.
Not appreciated,
then why do we struggle
against all odds
in the unknown water
to do right by others.
Not wanted,
then how can we not see
the future of caring coming undone
under the rule of indifference
how can we ever be free.
