Trying to regain my sanity,
The world never seems to show,
how my love has faltered,
yet I think I have the right to know,
When I succumbed to vanity,
Why I was forced to grow,
under the influence of others,
into someone lost and altered,
by their hate that never seems to go.
I try to touch my own reality,
yet I can never break free
from the chains of lonliness,
That allways drag me below,
The joy that only seeks to shelter;
my soul,
from all the evil
that begs me to follow,
My heart,
from all the horror my pain
would allow,
My life,
from constant sorrow.
