I can only cry
in my silent sadness,
with no-one else around.
How can I ever try
to understand this empty madness,
when my pain is the only thing
I can feel,
when tones of hate and selfishness
are the only sounds
I can hear,
coming from rooms,
filled with the voices
of all the people I have ever known.
I can only laugh
after I've been kissed,
and touched
some precious joy I've missed.
I am only half
of what I used to be.
Now I can only hope to grasp
a little piece of the happiness,
that living has taken away
by making me lonely.
So sad. . .but there is definitely a silver lining. It is called

Only hope to grasp a piece of happiness this one is sad and yet so real thank you for sharing the wonderful expressions of this subject.
