When we lay down together
I can feel the hands of time
stand still.
A tired world stops fighting
hate and anger cease destruction,
evil can no longer kill.
When we gently touch each other
our spirits spread wings and fly,
to a place void of lonely silence,
and the darkness of despair.
Where we can hold
that part of each other's lives,
arrogance forces us to hide.
When the two of us become one
It feels like there's no sorrow
the joy in our hearts can't mend,
the world seems
no longer lost and undone
Why does it have to end.

This is truly beautiful and heartfelt! Deep love beyond worldly stuff! Perhaps it doesn't end, but keeps going beyond our lives, victorious in the loving union of two precious souls... to love like that in this world must be to succeed, enjoying every moment, for the moment is all that we have and can depend on! Being fully present to the moment's beauty means holding no fear of the future or endings, and trusting the process of destiny and karma. It's the work of a master and let us aspire to master our own minds!!
