For now, I'm burning brightly
but I'm running out of hope,
my precious fuel.
I don't know how much longer
my flame can endure,
the flood of tears I'm learning nightly
why do you try to teach me
to be your fool
What keeps you from knowing
my love for you is pure
Am I holding you too tightly
Is my love for you your tool
The wrench you use to loosen up the strings of my heart
just to make me feel insecure
Do you really care
or have I merely caught you by surprise
on a hot summer day
stopping and turning slightly
to feel the breeze
of my open arms so cool
That within you
caused some kind of stir.
Keep your love pure Dear Pierre!!

May your flame Burn brightly eternal, despite it all!
