Why must I allways leap
toward your mystery
that beckons me
into your fire
that welcomes me
then turns me to ashes.
Why must you allways creep
far past my love
that calls to you
take a ride
in a car with a stranger
that always crashes.
Why must I allways hurt so deep
tormented by the look in your eyes
that says you need me
torn by the pain of my love
your freedom
ties to the post and lashes.
Why must you allways leap
into the pit of indulgence
that seeks to consume you
take comfort in the danger
ignore the care
that in front of you dashes.

Wonderful, I love the flow and it is so deep, I would be surprised if someone really understands what you are trying to say.

WOW Pierre this one is so masterful and well expressed I like the metaphors and message of this poem so well rounded. Excellent!!!!
I wish I could answer why some people behave as they do in the face of those who love them. Perhaps some people are incapable of returning love. Thank you, Pierre. Love and peace to you,
Your heart's calling is silent only to you and your love. It is a subliminal yearning that is almost a constant hum that comes up from the belly and lies within the heart wanting to burst forth.I feel that pain, that clinched fist holding back but stalling until it burst forth in pen. I've known the outlet for writing. It's one way to expel a plea that goes unheard to a love. I know this pain all too well. I gave it a name along with it's freedom. Your poetry allows me to look back from where I fled.

The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
