On the cusp of a feeling
I fear might be too revealing
if afterward lonliness may be gone
will I be more lost than I am now

I've grown accustomed
to being misunderstood and unwelcomed
to loving hard and long
till I no longer knew how

On the verge of awakening
to a life that could be soul shaking
I'm just afraid of singing my song
to a world where we are the ground
and hate is the plow

I have lived according
to a life only so rewarding
fought a battle just to get along
in a bitter search
for all the compassion
my love will allow

Eternal Love, Dove

In living we cross the paths of thousands of people. In making our journey easier there are times when we make a snap judgement out of loneliness and we pay for it with our hearts. Sometimes what we think is true love is one sided and we pay there as well. Then there are times when we cross a path...moonwalk and find out what we've been looking for has been here all along. There is a time and a season for all things( can't recall who said that)...perhaps that time is now.
Love,
Susan

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
