This is for my friend Tamie who contemplated
suicide.
She says she wants to die
this life is far too empty
her heart is much to lonely
for her to want to try.
She's leaving in the morning
driving to her special place
searching out her saving grace
free from all lifes scourning.
She's way past believing
in the joy that life can be
in the power of her love
that can set her soul free.
She's given more
than she ever thought she could give
even her will to live
to fight the pain
that sought to consume her.
Soon she'll be quiet
and resting
free of heartache and inferiority
and loss
yet the world will lose her forever
all the laughter and good she brought
only those who knew her
will be privileged to remember.

Pierre, its kind of funny this very night I review your poetry. You and I both know were family, as tamie is my mother. I spoke with aunt mel and I plan on getting help for my mother.I called her tonight and let her know that I was able to put her on my insurance as a family member. I was not able to speak with aunt mel, but I plan on getting my mom on my insurance and getting her the help she needs. I just have to say that you have been family for years and since I was a little girl about 13 or younger, I dont really remember, but now I am 26 and I never imagined reading your poetry reguarding my mother attempting to commit suicide. I cried, you know, you spoke with aunt mel and I talked with a special friend and I realized that through my hospital, I can get my mom help as long as she wants it. When I spoke with her briefly, she sounded ok with it. Pierre, I just want to thank you for the nights you have stayed up with my mom, I love her more than she could ever possibly imagine and if something happened to her, I just dont know what I would do. I love you guys, Mom, Aunt Mel, Pierre. Love always, MJ

pierre susicide robs them but so many feel so hopless and look around at the current events and rising economies it can spin those gentle ones off the line. Thank you for writing this one and prayers for your friend Tamie!!
So sad this morning fo a living, beating heart. Save her Pierre. Give her a reason to believe if possible. This touches me and squeezes my heart through my tears. I'm sorry...so sorry that there isn't one thing in this world worth living for. What about her deep friendship with you. This, alone, has reasons for living. My blessings for her and my thoughts for you.
Love,
Susan

I dont normally write comments like I am about to, but you write as though she is going to do it, and you acutally condone it...
Get after her, till her melancholy passes, don't let her wallow in her despondency!!
Sorry If I offend, but each soul on this earth is precious, dang I'd get after her, and pull any measure possible, she needs to seriously blow it out her ear.
Sorry Mate, thats how i feel, if i am wrong please correct me.

Sad, yet I do not think that the world will lose herlaughter and good. Humans tend to bury these things as Shakespeare so aptly put it "The good is oft interred with their bones". Yet any good done remains in this world, only we notice more the evil than the good. Give your friend my ove and tell her to have courage. Someone is waiting for her. Victor

Sometimes that feeling could kill even the smartest person in this world.
I'm saddened by this.
