I flex my arm
to raise my pen
and I feel
the energy
of a thousand lives
come inside me
just for a second
long enough
to pass through
and wash the paper
in front of me clean.
I lower it
to write
and begin to heal
Their pain and loss
consorts with mine
and I suffer
their lessons
with eagerness
I do the best I can do
with my feeble words
to let their hearts and minds be seen.

Its like having so many journies without actually, physcally being there. Its feels like a greatness unfolding right before your eyes never knowing what might come of it or what as already been seen. I love this poem pops. When I read this poem and read the one about Hemingway, its like his soul is connected with yours in some way.
