The hope we borrow
although we feel is pure
sometimes misleads us
and causes us to be unkind.

The pain and sorrow
our hearts endure
have the power to betray us
and render us blind.

To the lonliness that life unfolds
that just could be
the saving grace
of mankind.

The drawing together
of like souls
might just be the paramount
of our lifetimes.

Ours souls are intooned to the a journey which will never unfold. The connection between each other is like a candle. Once it burns out the journey ends and the fire becomes smoke. I enjoyed this poem pops. It seems with time passing by you become more couragous in walking the line that leads to a destination that only you hope for and realizing that dreams are not just dreams but are the key to unlocking who we really are.

Ohhhh! Pierre,

This is my favorite of yours. I'm keeping it here in my office so I can read it often. I feel your spirit soaring and your words are centuries wise. I also sense a break through from your melancholy days. You are correct, in my opinion, about like-souls. They're out there and when we get nearer we become energized and giddy at the possibilities to come. I'm happy for this new you.

Love,
Susan
