Real definition comes
from seeing the world through a cloud
for so long
every facit of your being has suffered,
from the moment you realize
you can't wait any longer,
for the day
you can teach yourself
to break through.
Real direction comes
from wandering aimlessly through life
for so long
finally every step you take you stumble
from the moment you look into your own
eyes,
and know that you could be stronger
from the day
you reach deep inside yourself,
to worship all that is good and true .
Goodness gracious! Just look at you. All this time we've been friends and every poem and all the reviews and emails and now! Just look at you! I see a man making a path of purpose and shine on this pen. This is the best day so far and the best poem. All around you there is more and more joy. Today your grandson will enjoy the benefit and tonight you will sleep with a fuller heart.
