Too many calm and loving arms
accept the brand of control and are forsaken
by humanity's so called brothers,
who wield their weapons of evil
and grasp at any chance they get
to steal a smile
performing the deeds of fiends
undercover,
They never shed a tear as they play their chance to be forever known.
Their warm and comfortable homes
stand because of their advantage
taken
of others,
who can only live in wretched poverty
forced to grasp at any chance they get
to feel worthwhile
in the eyes of friends
in the eyes of lovers,
They cowar in fear as they take a glance into their future,
into the unknown.
The path man chooses to take ofreb invilves others whom he exploits. In the end...we all die the same and the sins of us all are soon accounted for. Man is a fickle creature. Some have more compassion than others and others still die and use the dame door in the end. The sacrifices of greed can be Hell in the infinite hours later. You write from the side of compassion and give the others a conscious they needed before death comes calling. Very well penned for all of us to ponder.
