Some men cant keep their demons at bay
they lash out at the world
and destroy what they may
inflicting pain with their hands
and their swords
reducing love to splinters and shards.
Yet some men only long
to be gentle creatures
with warm soft hands
and loving features
with smiles
that transcend the boundaries of hate
and hearts
that challenge the unfairness of fate.
Some men truly understand
the importance of love
in the everyday battles
they fight to rise above
caressing allways
the promise of good
holding onto the hope
they wont be misunderstood.
Some men only strive
to provide a life
for a loving family
children and wife
working only
to see the joy in their eyes
giving more of thhemselves
as they grow older and wise.
In each man the dedication is understood with the exception being man number one. I know/knew this man. I knew him and my heart is proof he exists. In spite of it all the best is yet to come for me. You are sensitive to be able to describe the differences.The best is also coming to you in your lifetime. The trick is to open your heart and, simply, believe.
