Separated
against our will,
tossed out in life's storm
to wander alone,
we battle it still.

Embracing
the perils of love
oft times not sweet,
perchance to find each other searching,
perchance again to meet.

Taking
a little shelter from all life's pain,
in the comfort of another
although,
we know we can't remain.

For we're loving
one truly,
we need to greet
our long lost one and only,
who longs to make our souls,our hearts
and our lives complete.
