The seedling that was me
was left malnourished
the love that had created me
was absent, long extinguished.

Though feeble and trampled upon
I forced myself to bud
in the midst of humanity's drought
through life's famine and flood.

In this sad state I've remained
so cold and alone and stained.

Until you touched me
with your passion
till you took the time to nurture me
with your caring and compassion.

Till I felt
your loving heart so true
now I know it has allways been
my destiny to blossom with you.

I love the analogy, the symbolism and the sentiments expressed in your verses here, Pierre. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,

Your words paint a perfect picture of realization. Had me from the very first line. Ended with a smile on my face.
Thanks--RaeLynn

The rare bud that awaits the energy to turn into that most prize winning bloom...is wise to await that very special bee to come along and create a more beautiful flower. When we rush we overstep the imporatnt details that become our treasures later in life. This explains all that and some. I'm in awe of this write Pierre. Love,
Susan

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.

On the Edge of Words by Debra Kraft

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
