We held each other close
before the earth and time began
When as one free spirit
back and forth
across the universe
at will we ran.

Inside each other we were truly one
we had only to wish
and by the other's will
it would be done.

all we knew then was love
pure and true and simple
until we were born
into this existence
cold and infantile
crying and separate from each other
and all the joy we knew above.

Yet our sense of oneness
never faltered
and never came undone
through all of our growing
all of our loves
and all of life's pain
our day has finally come
to lay down the burden
of our constant searching
we feel ourselves so alive and excited inside each other once again
and we can see
our journey has come full circle
It's time for our happily ever after
For I've found you and you've found me.
