Inside a mind of ages

might there be a new world to see

a place where war has been conquered

and we've long since learned

to live in harmony


might there be an acknowledgment

of a heart that can be easily broken

an understanding of two souls

who've learned together to be truly free


might there be an appreciation

for every facet of our lives

lives we've all grown to cherish

A simple thankfulness for our right to be.



Inside a heart of ages

might there be a reverence

for a love that can't be changed

a comprehension of care for each other

that can't be rearranged


might there be a solace

that can't be escaped

a special place where compassion always lives

and can never be erased


might there be a comfort

in knowing love allways conquers evil

because we believed in it.
