I chased the love of my life through all the beauty of our belonging through all the pain of our shortcoming all the way to the end of the pier of our dreams I ran as hard and fast as I could but I couldn't make it in time to hold her she jumped anyway into the unknown into the life she thought she wanted that we never had together into her freedom.
