Love wouldn't be love

if it didn't beg those within it

to be true

to cling to the timeless wishes

that become the root of our dreams


Pain wouldn't be pain

if it only hurt

as much as we wanted it to

if it came in quiet whispers

and left us with comforting gleams


Life wouldn't be life

if it didn't force those within it

to know those times of blue

yet touch the wondrous beauty

each new day of our living brings.

In life the pain gives us incite to living and how much better life tastes after we go through pain. Some live with love deep in their hearts in the memories that love adds. Pain helps us treasure those good things about love that compels us to never give up. Wonderful thoughts in these emotions brought to life in your words. Blessings!
