Marilyn Monroe

I know

would have been

envious

of your sweet smile

the way you look at life

with such joy and anticipation

your subtle beauty

the soft glow

of your lonely

wandering eyes

the free spirit

that plays in your wayward soul

the way you capture life

and hold it gently

forever

in your gaze.
