looking back
I used to be a guide for the compromised. I would interpret, and, as I listened, would witness their beauty. I used to be a resource for sobriety and clarity. Those days of unfettered urgency have lost their clarity. Some say our generation failed miserably, but were we any more equiped to save humanity than those who came before? As time advances the energy once driving me now asks that I move silently in gratitude and gracefully turn responsibility to future possibility. I

Quite an introspective piece that I enjoyed. Yes, there comes a time when it's better to just bow out and let the younger generations take over and have their say in things.
