~ Wind Songs ~ A luminous glow lay in a ribbon across rolling surf From far away faint sounds float as if trying to outrun a storm Wind songs drift in on soulful moans hanging on top of undulating rolling mounds Clouds drift and part as rays of moonlight start dripping out touching only tops of a mystical , haunting mist as if anticipating finding only tranquility � 2005 Carole Mathys
