You describe the moods of
shadows so effectively...
There are times when the
shadows scare us and yet..
shadows are there for us
when we need to "hide in shadows".

Adore these highly evocative and imaginative ku, Carole. You conjure both atmosphere and a sense of the concreteness of your images in the most astounding ways. I like the way you seem to habitually cause the abstract to become "solid" in our minds: this set of verses are a case in point. You have an artist's eye and a poet's heart. Beautiful and unique. Liked them all, but the first and third are the best. I can't do these like this, senryu's are more my thing and I like Joseph's new form.
